We are a small breeder that strives to do things the right way. I believe in selling healthy, happy pups with great temperaments to good homes.
We live along the West Coast of Michigan very close to Lake Michigan and are lucky enough to be surrounded by orchards and have 7 acres of woods to take the dogs out on to sniff through the leaves and take in the sites, sounds and smells. My dogs are the main reason we choose to live here, it was the best place for them and so the best place for us! Small town living is great and we have our beautiful dogs to thank for it!

What is OFA and CERF ? The common misconception is that a mix breed from the pound will have less problems than a registered pup will. NOT SO! A pup that comes from parents that are OFA'd are far less likely to have problems with hip dysplasia and will live a healthier life because of this. OFA is a screening for many problems but typically used for hip and elbow defects.
CERF is one step to make sure that your pup doesn't carry the genetic trait for Triangular Cataracts or Retinal Dysplasia, among other things, that can render your pup blind at a very young age or shorten their lifespan. The adults are scanned for these and puppies are going blind much less often than they ever have in the past. Please look at the web sites for OFA and CERF information for this breed. We strive to breed for a healthy pup with a great temperament.
If you're new to puppy lingo the use of OFA is for Orthopedic Foundation for Animals and they have a web site that will explain more www.offa.org. All breeds have problems with hips, elbows, knees, heart, thyroid, etc., that are passed on genetically. the testing is to help concerned breeders to not carry on those traits that can end our dogs lives early.
Feeding the right way, the right amount of exercise, and not letting your pup do damaging activities to their joints go a long way also when it comes to preventing hip and elbow problems as they grow older! Read up on it and ask questions!

These pups are previous Crystal/Image puppies and Crystal is expecting again! She should be due around August 5th and Elle is also due any minute with a yellow litter to Image. Elle was a beautiful puppy and now a great adult and a beautiful girl! I am no accepting deposits on both litters. If you are interested in a pup please give me a call or shoot me an email.

Elle babies born on July 18, 2010! Beautiful puppies, all yellows in different shades. These are Image babies and I expect them to be gorgeous adults. Image is son of Ch. Boradors By George "Gordy" and almost all of Image's litter mates have their championships also. Elle and Immy have wonderful temperaments and the brains to match.
